Zebra Technologies Receives ISO 9001 Certification for Varades Design and Manufacturing Facility |

CAMARILLO, Calif., March 30, 2001 — Zebra Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: ZBRA), the worldwide leader in bar code and plastic card printing solutions, announced that its Eltron brand card printer design and manufacturing facility in Varades, France, has received ISO 9001 certification from Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. "We are very proud to have our quality system certified to ISO standards at all of our facilities," said Veraje Anjargolian, VP and General Manager for Zebra's Card Printer Business Unit. "We are deeply committed to quality and customer satisfaction. The ISO certification demonstrates that we are using systems, processes and controls that will enable us to meet or exceed our customer's expectations."
ISO 9001 is a globally recognized quality standard. It provides guidelines for the development and implementation of an effective quality management system, which includes design control, manufacturing and customer support services.
Zebra Technologies Corporation earned ISO 9001 at its Eltron brand card printer manufacturing facility in Camarillo, California, in January 2000. With certification of the Varades facility, Zebra now has seven facilities that are ISO 9000 certified. |
