Eltron Card Printer Group and G & A Imaging Collaborate to Ensure Compatibility of Industry Leading Personal ID Products. |

CAMARILLO, Calif., October 11, 2000 — Zebra Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: ZBRA), the worldwide leader in bar code and plastic card printing solutions, and G & A Imaging, a world leader in identification software products, announced today that the Eltron P310 card printer has been tested and certified to be fully compatible with G & A's EPISUITE identification software and EPIBUILDER software development kit.
The certification is the result of collaboration between the two companies to ensure compatibility of Eltron Card Printers and G & A's EPISUITE and EPIBUILDER software products.
G & A has established a comprehensive testing program to ensure compatibility of EPISUITE Lite, EPISUITE Classic, EPISUITE Pro and EPIBUILDER software developer's kit with third party card personalization equipment under Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0 operating systems.
Results of G & A's certification program are published on the company's web site at http://www.episuite.com.
Equipment tested under the G & A program are rated as either compatible, compatible with warning concerning specific functionality, or not compatible.
Eltron Card Printer models P310 and P500 are currently listed as compatible under all operating systems for the entire G & A product line. The Eltron P420 dual sided card printer is currently being tested at G & A and certification testing is scheduled to be completed on the new Eltron P520 card printer with built-in laminator before the end of the year.
